Castle Rock, Colorado Family Lawyer

Lori Crystal

My name is Lori Crystal, and I want to help you. I started my law firm in 1994 in Castle Rock, Colorado. I received a degree in Economics from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and graduated from the University of Denver Law School in 1990 receiving a Juris Doctorate. I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Family Law Section, the Douglas County Bar Association and the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar Association. I specialize in criminal and family matters. More importantly, I represent individuals not corporations. I understand that the bill is being paid from a real family budget, unlike a corporation that can just say, "send it to the legal department" for payment. I am not the cheapest lawyer, but I am frugal with my client's money. I have been practicing long enough to know that there are certain things that need to be done while avoiding needless busywork. Your attorney needs to be able to answer your questions and why things need to be done. You need to feel comfortable enough with your attorney to ask questions and know they respect your concerns.

I serve clients in the South Metro Area of Denver and have over 25 years of experience in litigation. I work tirelessly to uncover evidence others might gloss over. I will treat your case with urgency, and as a priority. You will not need to look any further to find the help you really need and want. If it was easy, anyone could do it. When people come to see me they have a problem. Unlike the stereotypical family law lawyer, in real life, divorce lawyers who are any good at their job calm things down. There are more than enough emotions to fuel the fire. In order to get things done and help you get on with your life, you need a lawyer who will stay focused and calm. In a thoughtfully aggressive yet businesslike manner, I go to work to achieve your goals and protect your interests. As angry as you may be, you don't want your lawyer to make things worse.

If you or someone you care about is charged with a crime in the South Metro Area of Denver (Douglas/Elbert/Arapahoe counties) you need to take this seriously. Even minor offenses carry lifelong consequences. A criminal conviction is forever. It can prohibit you from being bonded, from obtaining or maintaining certain jobs, utilizing company cars, and owning a firearm, just to name a few of the collateral consequences. If your rights are important to you, then you should obtain counsel as soon as possible. I'm not the cheapest attorney, but I am thorough, pay attention to detail, dig deep to uncover the non-obvious, and prepare mitigation starting day one.

I cannot insure that everything you want is possible, but I can put down my pen and look you in the eye and listen to what you have to say. With your trust we will accomplish what is right and proper in regards to your case. It's important for me to understand what's important to you, not just what I think is best. My goal is to obtain a resolution that you feel was successful. There is no more rewarding day at the office than when a prospective client, after talking to me says, "I feel so much better now". The highest compliment is when clients refer their loved ones to me. I've been in practice for twenty-six years, with my own firm for twenty-two. I've built my reputation on high quality representation in a no-nonsense style.
